2 Kings 12:2-3

12:2 Throughout his lifetime Jehoash did what the Lord approved, ¹  just as ²  Jehoiada the priest taught him. 12:3 But the high places were not eliminated; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense on the high places.

2 Kings 14:3-4

14:3 He did what the Lord approved, ³  but not like David his father. He followed the example of his father Joash. ⁴  14:4 But the high places were not eliminated; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense on the high places.

2 Kings 14:2

14:2 He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned for twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. ⁵  His mother ⁶  was Jehoaddan, who was from Jerusalem.

2 Kings 1:4

1:4 Therefore this is what the Lord says, “You will not leave the bed you lie on, for you will certainly die!”’” So Elijah went on his way.
