2 Kings 12:21

12:21 His servants Jozabad son of Shimeath and Jehozabad son of Shomer murdered him. ¹  He was buried ²  with his ancestors in the city of David. His son Amaziah replaced him as king.

2 Kings 14:19-20

14:19 Conspirators plotted against him in Jerusalem, ³  so he fled to Lachish. But they sent assassins after him ⁴  and they killed him there. 14:20 His body was carried back by horses ⁵  and he was buried in Jerusalem with his ancestors in the city of David.

2 Kings 23:20

23:20 He sacrificed all the priests of the high places on the altars located there, and burned human bones on them. Then he returned to Jerusalem.

2 Kings 23:2

23:2 The king went up to the Lord’s temple, accompanied by all the people of Judah, all the residents of Jerusalem, the priests, and the prophets. All the people were there, from the youngest to the oldest. He read aloud ⁶  all the words of the scroll of the covenant that had been discovered in the Lord’s temple.
