3:4 Now King Mesha of Moab was a sheep breeder. ¹  He would send as tribute ²  to the king of Israel 100,000 male lambs and the wool of 100,000 rams. 3:5 When Ahab died, the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel.

2 Kings 8:20

8:20 During his reign Edom freed themselves from Judah’s control and set up their own king. ³

8:22 So Edom has remained free from Judah’s control to this very day. ⁴  At that same time Libnah also rebelled.
