1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest parts 1  of the earth.”

Context

10:5 Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them as follows: 2  “Do not go to Gentile regions 3  and do not enter any Samaritan town. 4  10:6 Go 5  instead to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

[10:5]  3 tn Grk “on the road of the Gentiles.” That is, a path that leads to Gentile regions.
