• Hai Malaikat dari Sorga [KJ.97]

  1. Hai malaikat dari sorga, sayapmu bentangkanlah; nyanyi di seluruh dunia: lahir Kristus, Rajanya! Sudah lahir Kristus Raja, mari sujud menyembah!	Luk 2:8-14
  2. Hai gembala yang menjaga dombamu di efrata, Allah beserta manusia; mari menyaksikannya! Sudah lahir Kristus Raja, mari sujud menyembah!

  	Luk 2:1-20
  1. Di palungan dibaringkan Putra Allah yang kudus; tidurNya di kandang hewan, kandang domba dan lembu. Berbahagia gembala mendengar beritanya, Segera pergi ke sana dan padaNya menyembah.
  2. Berbahagia semua yang mendapat kabarnya, apalagi yang menyambut Dia dalam hatinya. Anak suci, Jurus'lamat, kandang hewan rumahMu, Sudilah, ya Yesus turun juga dalam hatiku.
  3. Hatiku Engkau dapati bagai kandang tak bersih; maukah Tuhan mendiami hati hina dan keji? Tuhan Yesus, mari masuk, buat Natal bagiku, Hatiku jadikan sorga oleh kehadiranMu.
  4. Dan kepada tiap orang yang hatinya membeku, kar'na tidak menghayati arti kelahiranMu, b'rilah, Tuhan, dari sorga sukacita yang kudus, agar ikut merayakan Hari Lahir Penebus!

• [Luk 2:1] On A Day When Men Were Counted

  On a day when men were counted, God became the Son of Man, That His Name in every census should be entered was His plan. God, the Lord of all creation, humbly takes a creature’s place; He Whose form no man has witnessed has today a human face. On a night, while silent shepherds watched their flocks upon the plain, Came a message with its summons brought by song of angel train: Lo, in Bethlehem’s little village has arrived the shepherd King, And each shepherd to his Master must his sheep as offering bring. When there shone the star of David in the spangled eastern sky, Kings arrived to pay their homage to the Christ, the Lord most high. Yet not all, for lo, there soundeth through the streets a fearful cry; For a king who will not worship has decreed that Christ must die. Yet it’s Christmas, and we greet Him, coming even now to save; For the Lord of our salvation was not captive to the grave. Out of Egypt came the Savior, man’s Immanuel to be— Christmas shines with Easter glory, glory of eternity.

  Hear us, O Lord, from Heaven Thy dwelling place: Like them of old, in vain we toil all night, Unless with us Thou go, who art the Light, Come then, O Lord, that we may see Thy face. Thou, Lord, doest rule the raging of the sea, When loud the storm and furious is the gale: Strong is Thine arm; our little barques are frail: Send us Thy help; remember Galilee. Our wives and children we commend to Thee: For them we plough the land and plough the deep; For them by day the golden corn we reap, By night the silver harvest of the sea. We thank Thee, Lord, for sunshine, dew and rain, Broadcast from heaven by Thine almighty hand— Source of all life, unnumbered as the sand— Bird, beast, and fish, herb, fruit and golden grain. O Bread of Life, Thou in Thy Word hast said, Who feeds in faith on Me shall never die! In mercy hear Thy hungry children’s cry— Father, give us this day our daily bread! Sow in our hearts the seeds of Thy dear love, That we may reap contentment, joy, and peace; And when at last our earthly labors cease, Grant us to join Thy harvest home above.
