3:4 Peter looked directly ¹  at him (as did John) and said, “Look at us!”

4:20 Then ²  he rolled up ³  the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on ⁴  him.

[3:4]  ¹ tn Grk “Peter, looking directly at him, as did John, said.” The participle ἀτενίσας (atenisas) has been translated as a finite verb due to requirements of contemporary English style.

[4:20]  ² tn Grk “And closing.” Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the transition to a new topic.
