Daniel 3:29

3:29 I hereby decree ¹  that any people, nation, or language group that blasphemes ²  the god of Shadrach, Meshach, or Abednego will be dismembered and his home reduced to rubble! For there exists no other god who can deliver in this way.”

Daniel 11:4

11:4 Shortly after his rise to power, ³  his kingdom will be broken up and distributed toward the four winds of the sky ⁴  – but not to his posterity or with the authority he exercised, for his kingdom will be uprooted and distributed to others besides these.

[3:29]  ² tn Aram “speaks negligence.”

[11:4]  ³ tn Heb “and when he stands.”

[11:4]  ⁴ tn Or “the heavens.” The Hebrew term שָׁמַיִם (shamayim) may be translated “heavens” or “sky” depending on the context.
