[2:27] 1 tn Heb “in the way in the way” (בַּדֶּרֶךְ בַּדֶּרֶךְ, baderekh baderekh). The repetition lays great stress on the idea of resolute determination to stick to the path. IBHS 116 §7.2.3c.
[28:4] 2 tn Heb “the fruit of your womb” (so NAB, NIV, NRSV).
[28:18] 3 tn Heb “the fruit of your womb” (so NAB, NIV, NRSV).
[32:2] 4 tn Or “mist,” “light drizzle.” In some contexts the term appears to refer to light rain, rather than dew.
