Hebrews 11:13-15

11:13 These all died in faith without receiving the things promised, ¹  but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners ²  on the earth. 11:14 For those who speak in such a way make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. 11:15 In fact, if they had been thinking of the land that they had left, they would have had opportunity to return.

Deuteronomy 12:9

12:9 for you have not yet come to the final stop ³  and inheritance the Lord your God is giving you.

Deuteronomy 25:19

25:19 So when the Lord your God gives you relief from all the enemies who surround you in the land he ⁴  is giving you as an inheritance, ⁵  you must wipe out the memory of the Amalekites from under heaven ⁶  – do not forget! ⁷
