Isaiah 54:13

54:13 All your children will be followers of the Lord,

and your children will enjoy great prosperity. ¹ 

Galatians 4:26

4:26 But the Jerusalem above is free, ²  and she is our mother.

[54:13]  ¹ tn Heb “and great [will be] the peace of your sons.”

[4:26]  ² sn The meaning of the statement the Jerusalem above is free is that the other woman represents the second covenant (cf. v. 24); she corresponds to the Jerusalem above that is free. Paul’s argument is very condensed at this point.
