6:8 I heard the voice of the sovereign master say, “Whom will I send? Who will go on our behalf?” ¹  I answered, “Here I am, send me!”

Isaiah’s Commission

6:1 In the year of King Uzziah’s death, ²  I saw the sovereign master ³  seated on a high, elevated throne. The hem of his robe filled the temple.

Colossians 1:16-17

1:16 for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, ⁴  whether principalities or powers – all things were created through him and for him.

[6:8]  ¹ tn Heb “for us.” The plural pronoun refers to the Lord, the seraphs, and the rest of the heavenly assembly.
