The Lord Charges Contemporary Israel with Spiritual Adultery

2:9 “So, once more I will state my case ¹  against you,” says the Lord.

“I will also state it against your children and grandchildren. ² 

Jeremiah 6:8

6:8 So ³  take warning, Jerusalem,

or I will abandon you in disgust ⁴ 

and make you desolate,

a place where no one can live.”
