Jeremiah 30:13

30:13 There is no one to plead your cause.

There are no remedies for your wounds. ¹ 

There is no healing for you.

Jeremiah 33:10

33:10 “I, the Lord, say: ²  ‘You and your people are saying ³  about this place, “It lies in ruins. There are no people or animals in it.” That is true. The towns of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem ⁴  will soon be desolate, uninhabited either by people or by animals. But happy sounds will again be heard in these places.

[30:13]  ¹ tc The translation of these first two lines follows the redivision of the lines suggested in NIV and NRSV rather than that of the Masoretes who read, “There is no one who pleads your cause with reference to [your] wound.”
