Jeremiah 51:50-51

Context

51:50 You who have escaped the sword, 1 

go, do not delay. 2 

Remember the Lord in a faraway land.

Think about Jerusalem. 3 

51:51 ‘We 4  are ashamed because we have been insulted. 5 

Our faces show our disgrace. 6 

For foreigners have invaded

the holy rooms 7  in the Lord’s temple.’
