The High Priest of a Better Covenant

8:1 Now the main point of what we are saying is this: ⁴  We have such a high priest, one who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, ⁵  8:2 a minister in the sanctuary and the true tabernacle that the Lord, not man, set up.

Hebrews 9:23-24

9:23 So it was necessary for the sketches ⁶  of the things in heaven to be purified with these sacrifices, ⁷  but the heavenly things themselves required ⁸  better sacrifices than these. 9:24 For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with hands – the representation ⁹  of the true sanctuary ¹⁰  – but into heaven itself, and he appears now in God’s presence for us.

[22:12]  ¹ tn This reading preserves the text as it is. The nouns “high” and “heavens” would then be taken as adverbial accusatives of place (see GKC 373-74 §118.g).
