John 8:42

8:42 Jesus replied, ¹  “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come from God and am now here. ²  I ³  have not come on my own initiative, ⁴  but he ⁵  sent me.

Revelation 22:1

22:1 Then ⁶  the angel ⁷  showed me the river of the water of life – water as clear as crystal – pouring out ⁸  from the throne of God and of the Lamb,

[22:1]  ⁸ tn Grk “proceeding.” Water is more naturally thought to pour out or flow out in English idiom.
