9:10 So they asked him, 1  “How then were you made to see?” 2  9:11 He replied, 3  “The man called Jesus made mud, 4  smeared it 5  on my eyes and told me, 6  ‘Go to Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and was able to see.” 7

9:15 So the Pharisees asked him again how he had gained his sight. 8  He replied, 9  “He put mud 10  on my eyes and I washed, and now 11  I am able to see.”

John 9:26-27

9:26 Then they said to him, “What did he do to you? How did he cause you to see?” 12  9:27 He answered, 13  “I told you already and you didn’t listen. 14  Why do you want to hear it 15  again? You people 16  don’t want to become his disciples too, do you?”
