Joshua 13:1
Context13:1 When Joshua was very old, 5 the Lord told him, “You are very old, and a great deal of land remains to be conquered.

[10:19] 3 tn Heb “has given them into your hand.” The verbal form is a perfect of certitude, emphasizing the certainty of the action.
[10:32] 4 tn Heb “he”; the implied subject may be Israel, or Joshua (as the commanding general of the army).
[13:1] 7 tn Heb “was old, coming into the days.” This expression, referring to advancing in years, also occurs in the following clause.
