23:14 “Look, today I am about to die. ¹  You know with all your heart and being ²  that not even one of all the faithful promises the Lord your God made to you is left unfulfilled; every one was realized – not one promise is unfulfilled! ³

Joshua Challenges Israel to be Faithful

23:1 A long time ⁴  passed after the Lord made Israel secure from all their enemies, ⁵  and Joshua was very old. ⁶

7:12 The Israelites are unable to stand before their enemies; they retreat because they have become subject to annihilation. ⁷  I will no longer be with you, ⁸  unless you destroy what has contaminated you. ⁹

Acts 26:22
