3:16 Then the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar as a food gift for a soothing aroma – all the fat belongs to the Lord. 3:17 This is ¹  a perpetual statute throughout your generations ²  in all the places where you live: You must never eat any fat or any blood.’” ³ 

Leviticus 4:8-10

4:8 “‘Then he must take up all the fat from the sin offering bull: ⁴  the fat covering the entrails ⁵  and all the fat surrounding the entrails, ⁶  4:9 the two kidneys with the fat on their sinews, and the protruding lobe on the liver (which he is to remove along with the kidneys) ⁷  4:10 – just as it is taken from the ox of the peace offering sacrifice ⁸  – and the priest must offer them up in smoke on the altar of burnt offering.
