Context20:19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the disciples had gathered together 5 and locked the doors 6 of the place 7 because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. 8 Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

Context20:26 Eight days later the disciples were again together in the house, 9 and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, 10 Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”
[24:31] 1 tn Here δέ (de) has been translated as “At this point” to indicate the implied sequence of events within the narrative. “Then,” which is normally used to indicate this, would be redundant with the following clause.
