9:13 But he said to them, “You 1  give them something to eat.” They 2  replied, 3  “We have no more than five loaves and two fish – unless 4  we go 5  and buy food 6  for all these people.”

5:30 Jesus knew at once that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched my clothes?” 5:31 His disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing against you and you say, ‘Who touched me?’” 5:32 But 7  he looked around to see who had done it.

[9:13]  1 tn Here the pronoun ὑμεῖς (Jumeis) is used, making “you” in the translation emphatic.

[9:13]  2 tn Here δέ (de) has not been translated.

[9:13]  3 tn Grk “said.”

[9:13]  4 tn This possibility is introduced through a conditional clause, but it is expressed with some skepticism (BDF §376).
