Third Prediction of Jesus’ Death and Resurrection

10:32 They were on the way, going up to Jerusalem. ¹  Jesus was going ahead of them, and they were amazed, but those who followed were afraid. He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them what was going to happen to him.

11:23 I tell you the truth, ²  if someone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.

Mark 12:14

12:14 When they came they said to him, “Teacher, we know that you are truthful and do not court anyone’s favor, because you show no partiality ³  but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. ⁴  Is it right ⁵  to pay taxes ⁶  to Caesar ⁷  or not? Should we pay or shouldn’t we?”
