  1. Berlayar baht'ra rahmat ke pantai dunia, membawa Jurus'lamat penuh karunia,
  2. membawa Firman Allah di dalam palkanya dan Roh Kudus Pengarah haluan kasihNya,
  3. supaya Yang Ilahi mendarat segera, Firman menjadi daging demi manusia.	Yoh 1:14
  4. Di Betlehem 'kan lahir Mesias Penebus hendak memikul salib setia dan kudus.
  5. Yang mau menyambut Dia serta merangkulNya, hendaknya bersedia dihina dunia,	Mat 16:24

  “Follow Me,” the Master said; We will follow Jesus: By His Word and Spirit led, We will follow Jesus. Still for us He lives to plead, At the throne doth intercede, Offers help in time of need: We will follow Jesus. Should the world and sin oppose, We will follow Jesus: He is greater than our foes, We will follow Jesus. On His promise we depend; He will succor and defend, Help and keep us to the end: We will follow Jesus. • [Mat 16:24] Jesus, I My Cross Have Taken

  Jesus, I my cross have taken, all to leave and follow Thee. Destitute, despised, forsaken, Thou from hence my all shall be. Perish every fond ambition, all I’ve sought or hoped or known. Yet how rich is my condition! God and Heaven are still mine own. Let the world despise and leave me, they have left my Savior, too. Human hearts and looks deceive me; Thou art not, like them, untrue. And while Thou shalt smile upon me, God of wisdom, love and might, Foes may hate and friends disown me, show Thy face and all is bright. Go, then, earthly fame and treasure! Come, disaster, scorn and pain! In Thy service, pain is pleasure; with Thy favor, loss is gain. I have called Thee, “Abba, Father”; I have set my heart on Thee: Storms may howl, and clouds may gather, all must work for good to me. Man may trouble and distress me, ’twill but drive me to Thy breast. Life with trials hard may press me; heaven will bring me sweeter rest. Oh, ’tis not in grief to harm me while Thy love is left to me; Oh, ’twere not in joy to charm me, were that joy unmixed with Thee. Take, my soul, thy full salvation; rise o’er sin, and fear, and care; Joy to find in every station something still to do or bear: Think what Spirit dwells within thee; what a Father’s smile is thine; What a Savior died to win thee, child of heaven, shouldst thou repine? Haste then on from grace to glory, armed by faith, and winged by prayer, Heaven’s eternal day’s before thee, God’s own hand shall guide thee there.   Must Jesus bear the cross alone, And all the world go free? No, there’s a cross for everyone, And there’s a cross for me. How happy are the saints above, Who once went sorrowing here! But now they taste unmingled love, And joy without a tear. The consecrated cross I’ll bear Till death shall set me free; And then go home my crown to wear, For there’s a crown for me.   O Jesu, crucified for man, O Lamb, all glorious on Thy throne, Teach Thou our wondering souls to scan The mystery of Thy love unknown. We pray Thee, grant us strength to take Our daily cross, whate’er it be, And gladly for Thine own dear sake In paths of pain to follow Thee. As on our daily way we go, Through light or shade, in calm or strife, O may we bear Thy marks below In conquered sin and chastened life. And week by week this day we ask That holy memories of Thy cross May sanctify each common task, And turn to gain each earthly loss.   “Take up thy cross,” the Savior said, “If thou wouldst My disciple be; Deny thyself, the world forsake, And humbly follow after Me.” Take up thy cross, let not its weight Fill thy weak spirit with alarm; His strength shall bear thy spirit up, And brace thy heart and nerve thine arm. Take up thy cross, nor heed the shame, Nor let thy foolish pride rebel; Thy Lord for thee the cross endured, And saved thy soul from death and hell.
