Context3:13 Hanun and the residents of Zanoah worked on the Valley Gate. They rebuilt it and positioned its doors, its bolts, and its bars, in addition to working on fifteen hundred feet 1 of the wall as far as the Dung Gate.
Nehemiah 8:1
Context8:1 all the people gathered together 2 in the plaza which was in front of the Water Gate. They asked 3 Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses which the LORD had commanded Israel.

Nehemiah 13:6
Context13:6 During all this time I was not in Jerusalem, 5 for in the thirty-second year of King Artaxerxes of Babylon, I had gone back to the king. After some time 6 I had requested leave of the king,
[3:13] 1 tn Heb “one thousand cubits.” The standard cubit in the OT is assumed by most authorities to be about eighteen inches (45 cm) long, so this section of the wall would be about fifteen hundred feet (450 m).
[8:1] 2 tn Heb “like one man.”
