Psalms 101:3

101:3 I will not even consider doing what is dishonest. ¹ 

I hate doing evil; ² 

I will have no part of it. ³ 

Isaiah 33:15

33:15 The one who lives ⁴  uprightly ⁵ 

and speaks honestly;

the one who refuses to profit from oppressive measures

and rejects a bribe; ⁶ 

the one who does not plot violent crimes ⁷ 

and does not seek to harm others ⁸  –

[101:3]  ² tn Heb “the doing of swerving [deeds] I hate.” The Hebrew term סֵטִים (setim) is probably an alternate spelling of שֵׂטִים (setim), which appears in many medieval Hebrew mss. The form appears to be derived from a verbal root שׂוּט (sut, “to fall away; to swerve”; see Ps 40:4).
