[102:12] 2 tn Heb “and your remembrance [is] for a generation and a generation.”
[12:5] 3 tn Heb “[is] his memorial name” (so ASV); TEV “the name by which he is to be worshipped.”
[4:5] 4 tn Heb “walk each in the name of his god.” The term “name” here has the idea of “authority.” To “walk in the name” of a god is to recognize the god’s authority as binding over one’s life.

[3:6] 6 tn Heb “do not change.” This refers to God’s ongoing commitment to his covenant promises to Israel.
