18:23 I was innocent before him,

Galatians 6:7-8

6:7 Do not be deceived. God will not be made a fool. ¹¹  For a person ¹²  will reap what he sows, 6:8 because the person who sows to his own flesh ¹³  will reap corruption ¹⁴  from the flesh, ¹⁵  but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

Hebrews 6:10

6:10 For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love you have demonstrated for his name, in having served and continuing to serve the saints.

[18:24]  ³ tn Heb “according to the purity of my hands before his eyes.” 2 Sam 22:25 reads “according to my purity before his eyes.” The verbal repetition (compare vv. 20 and 24) sets off vv. 20-24 as a distinct sub-unit within the psalm.

[128:1]  ⁴ sn Psalm 128. The psalmist observes that the godly individual has genuine happiness because the Lord rewards such a person with prosperity and numerous children.

[128:1]  ⁵ sn The precise significance of this title, which appears in Pss 120-134, is unclear. Perhaps worshipers recited these psalms when they ascended the road to Jerusalem to celebrate annual religious festivals. For a discussion of their background see L. C.
