• Pujian Malam Kunyanyikan [KJ.326]

  1. Pujian malam kunyanyikan; syukur, ya Tuhan, padaMu. Meskipun sinar surya hilang, Engkau tetap cahayaku. Tiada sayang ibu-bapak yang menandingi sayangMu: Tak putus 'ku Kau pelihara, Kau Sumber rahmat bagiku.	Mat 7:11

  Mine eyes and my desire Are ever to the Lord; I love to plead His promises, And rest upon His Word. Turn, turn Thee to my soul, Bring Thy salvation near; When will Thy hand release my feet Out of the deadly snare? When shall the sovereign grace Of my forgiving God Restore me from those dangerous ways My wandering feet have trod? The tumult of my thoughts Doth but enlarge my woe; My spirit languishes, my heart Is desolate and low. With every morning light My sorrow new begins; Look on my anguish and my pain, And pardon all my sins. Behold the hosts of hell, How cruel is their hate! • [Psa 121:1] Across The Sky The Shades Of Night

  Across the sky the shades of night This New Year’s Eve are fleeting, We deck Thine altar, Lord, with light, In solemn worship meeting; And as the year’s last hours go by, We raise to Thee our earnest cry, Once more Thy love entreating. Before the cross subdued we bow, To Thee our prayers addressing, Recounting all Thy mercies now, And all our sins confessing; Beseeching Thee this coming year To keep us in Thy faith and fear And crown us with Thy blessing. And while we pray, we lift our eyes To dear ones gone before us, Safe home with thee in paradise, Whose peace descendeth o’er us; And beg of Thee, when life is past, To reunite us all at last With those who’ve gone before us. We gather up in this brief hour The memory of Thy mercies; Thy wondrous goodness, love and power Our grateful song rehearses; For Thou hast been our Strength and Stay In many a dark and dreary day Of sorrow and reverses. In many an hour when fear and dread, Like evil spells, have bound us And clouds were gathering overhead, Thy providence hath found us. In many a night when seas ran high, Thy gracious presence, drawing nigh, Hath made all calm around us. Then, O great God, in years to come, Whatever may betide us, Right onward through our journey home Be Thou at hand to guide us; Nor leave us till at close of life, Safe from all perils, toil, and strife, Heaven shall enfold and hide us.

  I to the hills will lift my eyes; O whence shall come my aid? My help is from the Lord alone, Who Heav’n and earth has made. He will not let thy foot be moved, Thy Guardian never sleeps; With watchful and unslumbering care, His own He safely keeps.   Mine eyes look toward the mountains, Help cometh from on high; From God Who never slumbers, Whose care is ever nigh. My foot shall not be movèd, My keeper is the Lord; He never shall forsake me; I trust me to His Word. God keepeth me from falling, Fulfilleth all my need; His love doth e’er uphold me, In faithful word and deed.   Unto the hills around do I lift up my longing eyes O whence for me shall my salvation come, from whence arise? From God, the Lord, doth come my certain aid, From God, the Lord, who heaven and earth hath made. He will not suffer that thy foot be moved: safe shalt thou be. No careless slumber shall His eyelids close, who keepeth thee. Behold, He sleepeth not, He slumbereth ne’er, Who keepeth Israel in His holy care. Jehovah is Himself thy Keeper true, thy changeless Shade; Jehovah thy Defense on thy right hand Himself hath made.   With joy we lift our eyes, To those bright realms above, That glorious temple in the skies, Where dwells eternal Love. Before Thy throne we bow, O Thou almighty King; Here we present the solemn vow And hymns of praise we sing. While in Thy house we kneel, With trust and holy fear, Thy mercy and Thy truth reveal, And lend a gracious ear.
