Psalms 37:6

37:6 He will vindicate you in broad daylight,

and publicly defend your just cause. ¹ 

Micah 7:9-10

7:9 I must endure ²  the Lord’s anger,

for I have sinned against him.

But then ³  he will defend my cause, ⁴ 

and accomplish justice on my behalf.

He will lead me out into the light;

I will experience firsthand ⁵  his deliverance. ⁶ 

7:10 When my enemies see this, they will be covered with shame.

They say ⁷  to me, “Where is the Lord your God?”

I will gloat over them. ⁸ 

Then they will be trampled down ⁹ 

like mud in the streets.
