[125:5]  1 tn Heb “and the ones making their paths twisted.” A sinful lifestyle is compared to a twisting, winding road.

[125:5]  2 tn Heb “lead them away.” The prefixed verbal form is understood as a jussive of prayer here (note the prayers directly before and after this). Another option is to translate, “the Lord will remove them” (cf. NIV, NRSV).

[125:5]  3 tn Heb “the workers of wickedness.”

[125:5]  4 tn Heb “peace [be] upon Israel.” The statement is understood as a prayer (see Ps 122:8 for a similar prayer for peace).

[66:12]  5 tn Heb “Look, I am ready to extend to her like a river prosperity [or “peace”], and like an overflowing stream, the riches of nations.”

[66:12]  6 tn The words “from her breast” are supplied in the translation for clarification (see v. 11).

[1:16]  7 tn Or “to me”; the Greek preposition ἐν (en) can mean either, depending on the context.

[1:16]  8 tn This pronoun refers to “his Son,” mentioned earlier in the verse.

[1:16]  9 tn Or “I did not consult with.” For the translation “I did not go to ask advice from” see L&N 33.175.

[1:16]  10 tn Grk “from flesh and blood.”
