[6:8]  1 tn Heb “all [you] workers of wickedness.” See Ps 5:5.

[6:8]  2 sn The Lord has heard. The psalmist’s mood abruptly changes because the Lord responded positively to the lament and petition of vv. 1-7 and promised him deliverance.

[26:5]  3 tn Heb “assembly, company.”

[26:5]  4 tn Heb “sit.” The psalmist uses the imperfect form of the verb to emphasize that he does not make a practice of associating with such people.

[26:9]  5 tn Heb “do not gather up my life with.”

[26:9]  6 tn Heb “or with men of bloodshed my life.” The verb is supplied; it is understood by ellipsis (see the preceding line).

[139:19]  7 tn The Hebrew particle אִם (’im, “if”) and following prefixed verbal form here express a wish (see Pss 81:8; 95:7, as well as GKC 321 §109.b).

[139:19]  8 tn Heb “men of bloodshed.”

[7:23]  9 tn Grk “workers of lawlessness.”

[25:41]  10 tn Here καί (kai) has not been translated.

[1:1]  11 tn Grk “Paul.” The word “from” is not in the Greek text, but has been supplied to indicate the sender of the letter.
