You must not have sexual intercourse with your brother’s wife; she is your brother’s nakedness.

If a man has sexual intercourse with his brother’s wife, it is indecency. He has exposed his brother’s nakedness; they will be childless.

“‘If your brother becomes impoverished and sells some of his property, his near redeemer is to come to you and redeem what his brother sold.

except for his close relative who is near to him: his mother, his father, his son, his daughter, his brother,

You must not expose the nakedness of your father’s brother; you must not approach his wife to have sexual intercourse with her. She is your aunt.

after he has sold himself he retains a right of redemption. One of his brothers may redeem him,

Do not take interest or profit from him, but you must fear your God and your brother must live with you.

You must not hate your brother in your heart. You must surely reprove your fellow citizen so that you do not incur sin on account of him.

“‘If your brother becomes impoverished with regard to you so that he sells himself to you, you must not subject him to slave service.

You may give them as inheritance to your children after you to possess as property. You may enslave them perpetually. However, as for your brothers the Israelites, no man may rule over his brother harshly.
