When the seven thunders spoke, I was preparing to write, but just then I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders spoke and do not write it down.”

to James and his brother John, the sons of Zebedee, he gave the name Boanerges (that is, “sons of thunder”);

The crowd that stood there and heard the voice said that it had thundered. Others said that an angel had spoken to him.
