John answered them, “The person who has two tunics must share with the person who has none, and the person who has food must do likewise.”

‘I tell you that everyone who has will be given more, but from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.

Then Jesus said, “A man had two sons.

But they said to him, ‘Sir, he has ten minas already!’

So listen carefully, for whoever has will be given more, but whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him.”

Jesus answered them, “Those who are well don’t need a physician, but those who are sick do.

I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is finished!

But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; they must respond to them.’

He won’t thank the slave because he did what he was told, will he?
