An angel of the Lord, standing on the right side of the altar of incense, appeared to him.

The chief priests and the experts in the law were there, vehemently accusing him.

But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man who had the withered hand, “Get up and stand here.” So he rose and stood there.

So he was told, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.”

She came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak, and at once the bleeding stopped.

But when Jesus discerned their innermost thoughts, he took a child, had him stand by his side,

And all those who knew Jesus stood at a distance, and the women who had followed him from Galilee saw these things.
