through glory and dishonor, through slander and praise; regarded as impostors, and yet true;

and through your help to go on into Macedonia and then from Macedonia to come back to you and be helped on our way into Judea by you.

as unknown, and yet well-known; as dying and yet – see! – we continue to live; as those who are scourged and yet not executed;

and I will be a father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters,” says the All-Powerful Lord.

My point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously.
