He did this when he revealed to us the secret of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ,

This mystery is great – but I am actually speaking with reference to Christ and the church.

and to enlighten everyone about God’s secret plan – a secret that has been hidden for ages in God who has created all things.

Pray for me also, that I may be given the message when I begin to speak – that I may confidently make known the mystery of the gospel,
