But they did not find anything, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forward

The soldiers also mocked him, coming up and offering him sour wine,

He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.

When he knocked at the door of the outer gate, a slave girl named Rhoda answered.

For you have not come to something that can be touched, to a burning fire and darkness and gloom and a whirlwind

But you have come to Mount Zion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the assembly

Then the devil left him, and angels came and began ministering to his needs.

And a leper approached, and bowed low before him, saying, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

Then an expert in the law came to him and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”

But a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.

Then the disciples came to him and said, “Do you know that when the Pharisees heard this saying they were offended?”
