Then Jesus said, “A man had two sons.

The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at him, a glutton and a drunk, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’

“Take these words to heart, for the Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.”

For the Son of Man is to go just as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!”

that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.”

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people with whom he is pleased!”

And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and with people.

Treat others in the same way that you would want them to treat you.

“To what then should I compare the people of this generation, and what are they like?

But the one who denies me before men will be denied before God’s angels.

He then told them a parable: “The land of a certain rich man produced an abundant crop,

There right in front of him was a man suffering from dropsy.

They will say, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish!’

It will be the same on the day the Son of Man is revealed.

He replied, “What is impossible for mere humans is possible for God.”

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

But Jesus said to him, “Judas, would you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”

Now when Pilate heard this, he asked whether the man was a Galilean.
