Nathanael answered him, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel!”

So Pilate asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” He replied, “You say so.”

So Pilate asked Jesus, “Are you the king of the Jews?” He replied, “You say so.”

So they asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not!” “Are you the Prophet?” He answered, “No!”

They replied, “You were born completely in sinfulness, and yet you presume to teach us?” So they threw him out.

But you who eat vegetables only – why do you judge your brother or sister? And you who eat everything – why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.

When you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face,

“Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?”

So then, if you will worship me, all this will be yours.”

And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be thrown down to Hades!

So the king said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’

and saying, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself!”

The woman said to him, “Sir, I see that you are a prophet.

We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God!”

You don’t want to kill me the way you killed the Egyptian yesterday, do you?’

But if you call yourself a Jew and rely on the law and boast of your relationship to God

For you are certainly giving thanks well, but the other person is not strengthened.

Fool! What you sow will not come to life unless it dies.

So you, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

You be on guard against him too, because he vehemently opposed our words.
