So then, don’t worry saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’

“What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said, “The son of David.”

Whenever they hand you over for trial, do not worry about how to speak or what to say, for what you should say will be given to you at that time.

To the one who had said this, Jesus replied, “Who is my mother and who are my brothers?”

What did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.

Then the disciples came to him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

They said to him, “Why then did Moses command us to give a certificate of dismissal and to divorce her?”

The young man said to him, “I have wholeheartedly obeyed all these laws. What do I still lack?”

The disciples were greatly astonished when they heard this and said, “Then who can be saved?”

Now when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?”

Jesus said to them, “Whose image is this, and whose inscription?”

You are blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that makes the gift sacred?

When the disciples saw this, they became indignant and said, “Why this waste?

What is your verdict?” They answered, “He is guilty and deserves death.”

saying, “Prophesy for us, you Christ! Who hit you?”

But he denied it in front of them all: “I don’t know what you’re talking about!”

For what does it benefit a person if he gains the whole world but forfeits his life? Or what can a person give in exchange for his life?

But when you do your giving, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,

And which of you by worrying can add even one hour to his life?
