For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles –

For this reason I kneel before the Father,

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.

in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience,

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.
