They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised.” And they became greatly distressed.

When it was about nine o’clock in the morning, he went out again and saw others standing around in the marketplace without work.

The second did the same, and the third, down to the seventh.

So leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same thing once more.

So give orders to secure the tomb until the third day. Otherwise his disciples may come and steal his body and say to the people, ‘He has been raised from the dead,’ and the last deception will be worse than the first.”
