I sent you to reap what you did not work for; others have labored and you have entered into their labor.”

In a little while the world will not see me any longer, but you will see me; because I live, you will live too.

You will know at that time that I am in my Father and you are in me and I am in you.

You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.

So Jesus said to the twelve, “You don’t want to go away too, do you?”

Then the Pharisees answered, “You haven’t been deceived too, have you?

You people judge by outward appearances; I do not judge anyone.

But you refuse to believe because you are not my sheep.

For I have given you an example – you should do just as I have done for you.

You are clean already because of the word that I have spoken to you.

You are my friends if you do what I command you.

and you also will testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

Jesus replied, “You people are from below; I am from above. You people are from this world; I am not from this world.

I tell you the solemn truth, you will weep and wail, but the world will rejoice; you will be sad, but your sadness will turn into joy.

But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”

(I do not accept human testimony, but I say this so that you may be saved.)

You will look for me but will not find me, and where I am you cannot come.”

Who among you can prove me guilty of any sin? If I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe me?

Jesus answered, “I am not possessed by a demon, but I honor my Father – and yet you dishonor me.

You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and do so correctly, for that is what I am.
