They all ate and were satisfied,

and he took it and ate it in front of them.

Do we not have the right to financial support?

and all ate the same spiritual food,

Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, just as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”

Now food will not bring us close to God. We are no worse if we do not eat and no better if we do.

Now Jesus went home, and a crowd gathered so that they were not able to eat.

Now there were five thousand men who ate the bread.

Everyone ate and was satisfied, and they picked up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full.

Bring the fattened calf and kill it! Let us eat and celebrate,

Meanwhile the disciples were urging him, “Rabbi, eat something.”

So the disciples began to say to one another, “No one brought him anything to eat, did they?”

One person believes in eating everything, but the weak person eats only vegetables.

Now when you come together at the same place, you are not really eating the Lord’s Supper.

So then, my brothers and sisters, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
