John answered them, “The person who has two tunics must share with the person who has none, and the person who has food must do likewise.”

To the person who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other as well, and from the person who takes away your coat, do not withhold your tunic either.

He said to them, “Take nothing for your journey – no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, and do not take an extra tunic.
