Instead new wine must be poured into new wineskins.

For from now on there will be five in one household divided, three against two and two against three.

“The one who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and the one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

But when you host an elaborate meal, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind.

No one after drinking old wine wants the new, for he says, ‘The old is good enough.’”

“A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed him five hundred silver coins, and the other fifty.

Every valley will be filled, and every mountain and hill will be brought low, and the crooked will be made straight, and the rough ways will be made smooth,

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

They also said many other things against him, reviling him.

They were both righteous in the sight of God, following all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blamelessly.

“For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit,

But indeed, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”
