and the one in the field must not turn back to get his cloak.

Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one left.

He presented them with another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a person who sowed good seed in his field.

So the slaves of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Then where did the weeds come from?’

And if this is how God clothes the wild grass, which is here today and tomorrow is tossed into the fire to heat the oven, how much more will he clothe you, you people of little faith!

“Now his older son was in the field. As he came and approached the house, he heard music and dancing.

He gave them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.

“The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure, hidden in a field, that a person found and hid. Then because of joy he went and sold all that he had and bought that field.

On that day, anyone who is on the roof, with his goods in the house, must not come down to take them away, and likewise the person in the field must not turn back.
