Be careful! I have told you everything ahead of time.

Jesus began to say to them, “Watch out that no one misleads you.

Watch out! Stay alert! For you do not know when the time will come.

And Jesus ordered them, “Watch out! Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod!”

Though you have eyes, don’t you see? And though you have ears, can’t you hear? Don’t you remember?

And he said to them, “Take care about what you hear. The measure you use will be the measure you receive, and more will be added to you.

In his teaching Jesus also said, “Watch out for the experts in the law. They like walking around in long robes and elaborate greetings in the marketplaces,

“You must watch out for yourselves. You will be handed over to councils and beaten in the synagogues. You will stand before governors and kings because of me, as a witness to them.
